Important Information About Our Natural Products

At Hope, Herb & Oil, we pour our hearts into creating handcrafted essential oil blends, herbal remedies, and botanical wellness products inspired by Appalachian traditions and rooted in faith. While we believe deeply in the power of plant medicine, we want to be transparent about what our products can and cannot do.

Our Products Are Not Medicine

Everything we create—from our Aromas of Grace signature blends to our Remedy and Root therapeutic formulas—is designed to support your wellness journey naturally. However, these products are not pharmaceutical drugs and have not been evaluated by the FDA.

We cannot legally claim that our essential oils, tinctures, balms, or tonics will diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. What we can say is that we use therapeutic-grade ingredients, time-honored herbal wisdom, and careful craftsmanship in every batch.

When to Talk to Your Doctor

Natural doesn't always mean risk-free. Please consult a qualified healthcare provider before using our products if you:

  • Are expecting a baby or nursing
  • Take prescription medications (some herbs interact with drugs)
  • Have chronic health conditions like asthma, epilepsy, or high blood pressure
  • Plan to use products on children under 10
  • Have known plant allergies or very sensitive skin

Your doctor knows your health history best. We're herbalists and aromatherapists, not medical professionals.

Use Our Products Wisely

Essential Oils Are Potent: A little goes a long way. Always dilute before applying to skin—we recommend 5-10 drops per ounce of carrier oil for most adults. Never apply undiluted oils to babies, young children, or sensitive areas like eyes and mucous membranes.

Tinctures & Tonics: Follow the suggested serving size on each product. More is not better when it comes to herbal extracts.

Balms & Salves: Test a small area first if you have reactive skin. Discontinue use if redness or irritation develops.

Keep Away From Little Ones: Store all products out of reach of children and pets. Many essential oils can cause serious health issues if ingested by very small children, and are toxic to cats and dogs

Every Body Is Different

What brings one person relief might not work the same way for you. Herbal remedies and aromatherapy affect people differently based on body chemistry, health status, and individual sensitivity. We encourage you to start slowly, pay attention to how you feel, and honor what your body tells you.

Our Commitment to You

Though we can't make medical promises, we can promise this: every product from Hope, Herb & Oil is made with integrity, quality ingredients, and genuine care for your wellbeing. We source therapeutic-grade essential oils, use organic herbs whenever possible, and craft everything by hand in small batches.

We stand behind our work, but we also recognize the limits of what natural products can do. If you're dealing with a serious health concern, please seek appropriate medical care.

Your Responsibility

By purchasing from Hope, Herb & Oil, you acknowledge that you're using our products at your own discretion and risk. We are not liable for adverse reactions, misuse, or any outcomes—positive or negative—that result from using our essential oils, tinctures, balms, tonics, or other botanical products.

This isn't legal jargon for the sake of it. We genuinely want you to use our products safely and mindfully.

Questions? We're Here
